inspection and march past held in the pufc the pipe band of the lorrie scots played during the inspection of the railfa and led the parade last the reviewing stand lccolj barber and- ll p s morrison cd oakville hjmade the inspection with instructors captain a c prouse lt c a teeter and tt g bl armstrong cdt majors ijoug wrigglesworth- and barbara alcott accompanied them major alcott later commanded a girls precision squad in a drill exercise to front of the grand stand displaying drill movements in the slow and quick march in the field demonstrations- a cadet rifle group under cdt ix tom barber exemplified firing from lying kneeling and sta posi tions a bren gun crew under cdt lt earl little went through the operations of loading and firing blank cartridges were used in both demonstrations the basic use of these weapons was displayed in field craft exer cise staged on the track infield during the mock raid the bren was used as cover fire for the rifle squad whose
