all sources of pollution further there would be close su pervision over the operation of all sewage and waste treatment works many phases of this work have already started he said the program is a huge one and will re quire large expenditures but pol lution of streams involves major losses to the people of the proy- ince the work will be expedited but it must be recognjred thatsuch a program will take some tune for completion however the impor tant thing is that it is going for ward and that its effect will be felt increasingly throughout ontario as time goes by mr snider said that to carry out such a program of water pollution control the water resources com mission has developed a staff of experienced experts recruited from the field of sanitation a new mo dern laboratory for research and testing purpose was planned for the northwest section of metropol itan toronto while a new labora tory had been put into operation in sarnia recently we ask the cooperation of in dustry
