been presented witfian honour crest by clubs or activities 1 mean the choir bazaar library club cadets spoils and the num erous others here at georgetown high now the crests are suppo- sed to be changed to honour let ters the honor ores as most of you know is a navy blue and red crest which can he sewn on jackets or blazers the honour letters are a capital g standing for george town to gain this one must earn either 50 or 100 points 50 being for a smaller letter and 100 for a larger letter an example of how many points one activity counts is the choir being a member of the choir gains only 2 to 5 points at the most this shows how long it will take some to obtain at least 50 points in my opinion this is unfair be cause it is possible that several students will get fewer points than they deserve others more why not have honour letters for those who took part in sports football and hockey teams track and field feet and others i feel these stud ents should have something dif ferent but i think that honour crests should not die out they should live an as long as the activ ities for which they are earned exist and i think that will be a long time ps why not leave the answer to the served as a spare teacher last year mr walker was for many years a toronto magazine editor he has travelled extensively and be sides europe he has been in all the provinces of canada and for ty of the there were new presidents and editors to our school organizations and with thifm many new ideas for the coming year we started off with the inltia tion party several football games and a dance the
