again in knox presbyter ian church hall with the rot ary members wiies preparing the turkey dinner and once again members of the business professional women s club gave their services that evening and helped look after the tab les guests were greeted at the door by a club member leslie clark and mrl4ark and were then shown to the ante room where the ladies were given corsages by members of the rotary annes the dinner began atj7 15 with the president of the rotary club bud bishop proposing a toast to her majesty the queen followed by singing the national anthem rev w murdock said grace after a very excellent dinner mr bishop welcomed guests and introduced john ord local barrister and club member who welcomed the guests mr ord aaid that while raanv of our senior citizens bad indicated to him how much they enjoyed this annual night that he hon estly believed that the club members were far more deligh ted in having the privilege of playing host and that it wm a verv fine experience for them all to renew old acquaintances and make new ones he hoped that all those present would enjoy the evening fred mcnatb in replying for the senior citizens expre ed his thanks for the group and said he knew that everyone in the hall had enjocd the even ing and it was a great pleasure to again be present after the toast president bt shop asked that a distinguished visitor be shown in to pay his
