oak villc last friday evening when they organized ilalton young liberal association the new association will be affiliated with the ontariq young liberal association and the senior ilalton county lib eral association sars out afma the young liberals of hal ton county will spearhead a drive to seek out a liberal candidate to run in the next federal election a resolution to this effect was unanimously passed by members attending the organizational meeting veteran liberal party mem ben said the meeting marked the strongest liberal showing in this country in years the resolution expresses the group s foremost tak the actual selection of the candi dite will be done in conjunct ion with the ilalton county liberal association with which the young liberals are aftiti 4i ted a constitution had been drawn up earlier bv a group of interested oung people ind was prcslnted to the meeting b jim clifford and rccemd ratification it sets out the aims of the association which will be a political esqueslngs school area no 1 for years these southern township schools have opera ted as separate units away from the township board and have been managed by local boards of trustees however the boards have petitioned the area board to be included in the township section and itis understood that a new con solidated school is to be erected in the southern portion of the township to serve pupils from the three schools no site has been chosen but the trustees are planning a location on or near 5 stderoad at ltgny school enrolment jumped to 45 this year and 10 pupils have to be transported to nearby
