i brownridge descendents hold brampton reunion about 200 descendants of thomas brownridge who emigrated to canada from yorkshire in 1819 gathered for a family reunion at brampton fair grounds ot 10 e joseph brownridge a son of the man who had homesteaded the land 88 years before on the homestead thomas brownridge married eliza ward of islington and together they raised 7 sons and 1 daughter on the
