might add but back to the ranch u we started to say this fine donation is but a silent tes timony to the harmony existing in the hospital the board appreciates these two fine gestures and look for ward to working together for the betterment of our facilities a radiothon was held recent ly over chic brampton and donations were channelled to georgetown memorial and to the etobicoke building fund a number of our outstanding art lata in town wera taped for the program gesture which we appreciate deeply for var ious reasons a number of these artists wen not heard however u always georgetown artists come through to help in any good cause dr j paul panabaker has succeeded dr thonukon as the chief of staff ho has been prac ticing in georgetown for quite a number of years and has been quite active locally we wish dr panabaker well in his new post and are sure he will do the usual excellent job we have come to expect from oar respec tive chiefs we should be very remiss if we did not pay trib ute to the excellent leadership given in the past two years in hospital matters by dr alan thompson he did an excellent job and his work is greatly ap preciated georgetown has been fortunate in the type of men who have guide the medical ser vices since the hospital incep tion in 1901 in the persons of our first chief dr j h cham berlain dr alistair macintosh and drs thompson and pana baker
