were several very colourful and interesting displays about the room among the number of beautiful quilts which were brought were two displayed by debbie and susan may showing painstaking handwork and fan cy stitches mrs c b dick pro vided an interesting collection of sewing materials of long ago and mrs hector bird mrs cliff hunter and others brought sev eral fancy china pieces and old photographs and pictures janet nurse exhibited sever al hand picked items among them ladies nigh buttoned shoes and kathleen kiteley and ma ry mcgce added other priceless treasures from their family col lections not so antique but most un usual was the collection of dolls displayed by margaret olipbant these were dainty little hand made tos completely clothed to the last detail and each one absolutely different the fair commenced at noon with a buffet meal consisting of food which the jjirls bad learned to make during the course and over fifty people en joyed the luncheon following this was a program arranged by the girls it included musical numbers and readings but the highlight was an interview with guests mrs c b pick and mrs j m wickson they acquainted the girls with the realities of
