    The house was used as a bobbin factory and a barrel factory before being converted into a double house. Sam Roberts and his mother lived in one half. Then the Davidson's owned it when they bought the

    Dam and footbridge over the Credit River.

    Built as the glass gardens, these premises became Smith and Stone with additions put on the front of the building.
