Cheltenham began to battle back in the third, taking a 7-5 lead. However, this lead was extinguished in the fifth when Electric's Derek Lockerbie doubled and Mike Pawlak and Mike Fowler scored to tie the game at 8-8. Cheltenham showed why they were the league's leading team when they recaptured the lead 10-8.
