Police were called to the home at 12:30 a.m. and members of the Street Crime Unit made the arrest after the suspect ran from the rear of the home. Police found that ascreen had been opened and a window pried, but the house was not entered and nothing was stolen. Assault and drug charge A McDonald Boulevard man will be back in Milton court March 23 after being charged with assault, level one after he banged his girl- friend's head into a washing machine at 239 Mill St. E. last Wednesday evening. The 31-year-old man was also charged with possession of a controlled substance af- ter a police search after his arrest turned up a small quantity of hash oil. Love triangle assault A 19-year-old Poplar Av- enue woman was charged with assault, level one, after she kicked another female in the stomach on Mill Street last Thursday evening. Police report the victim was sitting in her car with her boyfriend at 25 Mill Street, East, when she was pulled from the vehicle and as- saulted. The accused appears in Milton court on March 23. Pop machine pried open There are no suspects and no witnesses to the theft of $300 in coins from pop ma- chines in the IGA parking lot on Main Street. Police report the thieves pried open the coin boxes overnight last Wednesday. Impaired charge A 42-year-old Limehouse man was charged with im- paired driving after being pulled over at 12:15 Satur- day morning at the corner of Main Street South and Church Street. Police say the driver displayed obvious signs of impairment. Shadow stolen A 1993 blue Dodge Shadow was stolen from the parking lot behind a Church- ill Road, South apartment building overnight Saturday. Sign thrown A sign post from the north side of Mill Street West was thrown onto the roof of an Oldsmobile parked on Wilbur Street North on Fri- day night. The victim's girl- friend told police she heard a noise and they found the sign on the car when they went to investigate.
