Golden Age club starts Sept. 1 Are you aware there is a seniors "Golden Age Club" for 55 and over in Acton?.Do you know we help support the United Seniors Citizens (USCO) of Ontario? This is the organization that works with the Minister of Health and Welfare for the needs and benefits of seniors. We have them to thank for much of our free medication, hearing aid assistance and more hospital beds for long term patients etc. Their work for us has no limitations. Our club helps provide funding for the USCO. Come out Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. and learn more about it. We meet the first Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the third Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in St. Alban's Luxton Hall each month. If you wish to become a member it is only $3 per year.
