Last weekend alone, seven bags of coats and snowsuits were collected from the drop-off bin at the Acton IGA. Store staff said one woman asked what the coat collection box was for while standing at the checkout and took the coat right off her back after hear- ing that the coats would be cleaned and given to people who need them.
