THE NEW TANNER THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 1998 © HEADS UP! Several sections of panelling in an over- hang at the front entrance ofthe Acton arena were torn off during last week's windstorm. While unfor- tunate, the damage caused more than.a few smirks - among those who want to save the dld Prospect Park arena since an argument for demolition is that the roof. is unsound and could collapse in high winds. The worst . winds in 23 caused no damage to the old facility -- the contractor will assess damage at the new arena this week. - Frances Niblock photo , Credit Union_raises funds for Big Bros.
