EK Graeme Copeland showed why he was named top league goalie as he earned a shutout in Halton Power Line's 2-0 win over Acton Precast Concrete for the "A" consolation win. Derek White and Nick Perron named most im- proved player, scored for Power Line. Perron and Alana Chan, named MVP and Derek White had as- sists. eK Corey Slater had a pair of goals to help Acton Kins- men doubled Acton Terminal Warehouse 4-2 for the Peewee "B" consolation fi- nal. Peter Cobb, named team MVP, and Scott Williams also had singles. Assists went to Jonathan Tysoe and Nick Newby. They continued with their dominant regular season play by scoring two goals in the firest period, one in the sec- ond and two in the third for a 5-0 victory. Robin Harvey had two goals and one assist to go along with her regular sea- son scoring title. Harvey sist. Subway coach Tony Mastro was named league coach of the year. COACHES With a little help from the referee, Mastro's Maniacs tied Smith's Snipers 8-8 dur- ing the coach's game at the Day of Champions. Smith allegedly scooped all of the younger coaches and al- though the elder Maniacs held their own for a while, they lost their legs in the sec- ond period. With the winding down Baker raced down the ice on a breakaway and caught the bottom corner of the net to put the game into overtime.
