Game MVP Bradley Kri had a pair of goals late in the game for Jescan, one of them with help from Mitchell Webster. Top league points scorer Colton Burgan, also named team MVP, had an unassisted single. OK In the consolation final Hogarth Printing downed Best Transfer 4-1 with a pair of goals from Brandon Bennett and singles from Alexander Wenzel and Taylor McNabb who also had an assist. Shane Carr --_--a on Bennett's second goal. Dylan Creasey, named MVP for Best, had a single goal with help from Matt Murray. NOVICE League and game MVP Kristopher Van Soelen had a hat trick as Galvcast -- which only lost one game all season -- out-hustled M & M Pro Sports for the Novice championship. Aaron Hnatiw assisted on Van Soelen's first goal -- thé next two were unassisted. James Reid, named team MVP, also scored twice with help on both goals from Clark Murray. James Evans, Clark Buchanan and Tomas Hjelholt had singles for Legion. Assists went to Andrew Baklarz, Alex Hunak and Buchanan. ATOM A penalty shot by Dennis Hunak, his second goal of the game, helped power Georgetown Chrysler to a 4- 1 win over R/M Construction for the Atom championship. Chrysler finished second in regular season play and first in the playoffs. Hunak, named game MVP and team MVP, scored unassisted and then Michael Kellas, assisted by Kevin Saelzer, scored to make it 3-1. When an R/M layer touched the puck with fis hand in the crease, Hunak took his penalty shot and scored. Kevin Deforest scored for R/M with help from Derek Burton. eR It took a shootout to de- termine the Atom consola- tion winner as Allostra Ca- tering edged The Graphic Shoppe 6-5. With a 4-4 tie at the end of regulation play they went to a shoot out and each team scored once. Then Brent Lane's deadly shot gave Allostra the win. Mat- thew Eaton-Kent had a pair of goals for Allostra -- one in regular play and the second in the shoot out. Geoffrey Baklarz, Josh Ceccotti, and Luke Hurren had singles. Assists went to Lane, Baklarz and Eaton-Kent. Josh Stevens had four goals for Graphic and Jeremy Stevens had a single. Assists went to _Andrew Jackson, Tim Tysoe and Dylan Beardall. PEEWEE With 29 seconds on the clock Corey Ward bounded out of the penalty box, ---- the puck and neatly ipped it into the net to give A & S Engraving and Tro- phies a 2-1 edge over Daniel Varanelli in the Peewee championship game.
