The Acton Major Atom Tanners and the Minor Pewees came home champs and the Minor Novice Tan- ners - over all tournament points leaders - made it to the final, but lost to rival Fergus. The Major Pewee Tanners won one game. After downing Milton, Erin/Hillsburgh and Flamborough the Major Atom Tanners, known as the "come back team" faced host Milton in the final on Satur- day. Acton was down 2-0 in the first period but came back with a single from Elliott Shrive and a hat trick from Andrew Marcoux for a 4- | championship win. Josh Locke was in goal for the first two periods and Simon Sharples took over for the third. The Minor Peewee Tan- ners won their first two games and tied their third round-robin game before meeting Milton in the final and pulling off a 2-1 win. Troy Ethier scored with help from Matthew Locke and Chad Artem scored with help from Ethier. Brandon Kernohan and Jordan Guindon shared net-minding duties. The Minor Novice Tan- ners won all three of their round-robin games. and ended up leaders with 11.5 points, compared to 7.5 for Fergus who they faced in the final. Fergus won that game 4-1 The Major Pewee Tanners beat Belle River 2-1 in the first game, but then lost to Milton and then to East Gwilembury in the consola- tion final.
