Between 30 and 40 people showed up to help with the job. Volunteers cleaned up an assortment of flotsam and jet- sam thrown into the lake and along the shores. There also cleaned up the purple loosestrife along the north arm where the School Creek empties into the lake. Prize specimen of the collectors was a stubby beer bottle which Coun. Then there was overgrown brush cut along the path from Prospect Park to Elizabeth Drive as well as cement blocks which someone oblig- ingly threw into the lake.
