We can't rush things yet though, because we have things happening at EWAG here in Rockwood. First of all, our thrift store, Happy Returns has some fun sales for you in November. Come in and spend more than $10 and you can Draw a Dis- count ticket for a better deal than usual. You can also use that ticket to put your name into our Christmas Draw, to be drawn on Dec. 16. Ifyou haven't checked out our new look in the store and office be sure to get down and see our improvements. Amaz- ing what a new coat of paint and some renovation can do! Join us for Exercise and Healthy Lifestyle Sessions at Squires Lodge. This program runs until Nov. 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays in the Common room and in- cludes a healthy snack. There is no charge and you are wel- -- to come as often as you Enjoy doing crafts? Then joinus again at Squires Lodge for Christmas Crafts on Fri- days from 1 to 3 p.m. These are not hard crafts to do and all are welcome to join us. Goodies and beverage pro- vided. All Christmas items will be soldat the Lioness Bazaar with proceeds going toward EWAG programs. Diners Club is on Tues- days at noon at Squires Lodge. All are welcome. Please bring your own plates, mug, silverware, etc. and cost is $5 per person. If you or someone you know would like to become involved in a Seniors Day Program, we will be bringing the Day Program from Erin into Rockwood starting in January. Each individual will be accessed by the Commu- nity Care Access Centre for eligibility. The program will run two Fridays a month from approximately 10 a.m. to4 p.m. This will include transporta- tion, hot lunch, crafts, and outings. Any one senior from the community could possi- bly be eligible for the pro- gram, with a minimal charge involved. We are currently looking for a volunteer who would be willing to drive to the 109 Club in Erin to pick up food items for our Food Bank here. This volunteer would be paid mile- age and the day of travel would probably be a Thurs- day. If you could help us out we would appreciate it. EWAG office hours in Rockwood are 10 to 4 Tues- day to Friday. Happy Returns is open the same as the office and 10 to 2 on Saturdays. Our phone number is 856-2113.
