Assists went to Dustin Ballentine (2), Sean Terry, Curtis Marcoux and Brake. Acton wasn't so lucky when Oakville came to town last Sunday and downed the Major Novice squad 9-3. Acton edged Thorold 5-4 in game Atoms reach semi-finals An overtime goal gave Guelph a 4-3 win over the Acton Major Atom Tanners in the semi-finals at a tourna- ment in Erin in last weekend. Michael Bentley had a pair of goals and Mike Krasnay had a single in that game on Sun- day. Assists went to Braden Artem -- who was named game MVP--and Brad Ethier. Michael Bentley scored two goals and was named game MVP as Acton downed chomberg 5-2 in game two. Garrett Williams, Greg Henry and Daniel Woolford had sin- gles. Craig Kirkwood had two assists and Williams, Bentley, Sean Nellis and Shaun Harkley had assists. Two goals from Nellis helped Acton to a 5-3 win over Erin/Hillsburgh in game one.
