Those involved with Students of Liv- ing Life and Amnesty Interna- tional held their inaugural coffee house on Tuesday, "Jam 4 Jus- tice" was a great success in rais- ing awareness about social injus- tice.. The University of Toronto is hosting an educational engineer- ing weekend. "Skule Daze" of- fers a design competition, infor- mation on university programs, team sporting activities and an overnight stay in campus resi- dence. Ryerson Polytechnic is offering a similar program exclu- sively for female students. Those interested are asked to speak with Ms. Morrison in student Services. Bishop Reding's interpreta- tion of the musical "Return to the Forbidden Planet" was a huge success. All the cast members put on a show that was laced with satirical comedy and amaz- ing vocal renditions of classic songs. Special mention goes out to Aaron Scarlett who excelled in his lead role as Captain. Bishop Reding sports teams are having early success in their seasons. The senior boys' soc- cer team finished second in an indoor tournament held in Vaughn. The senior badminton squad sent nine of its 10 teams to Halton finals on Wednesday. Congratulations to all players including Sarah Venema, David Lajeunesse, Eva Sitarz, Joanna Sitarz and Andrew "the animal" Coe.
