At2:11 Saturday morning, police on routine patrol stopped a 2003 Honda trav- elling at a "high rate of speed" on Yaqung Street at Arthur Street. Police detected the smell of alcohol and administered a roadside breath test. The driver was arrested and taken to the Georgetown station for further testing, and charged. He appears in Milton court on January 6. Pine theft A pine table and bench were stolen from the front veranda of a Wilbur Street house between | and 3:30 a.m. on Friday. The four-by-six-foot table and four-seat bench are val- ued at $400. Youths questioned Acton firefighters ques- tioned several teens -- all who proclaimed their innocence -- after a passer-by reported youths were setting fires along the creek behind the hydro office on Alice Street at 7:40 p.m. on Monday. Firefighters questioned several youth that were leay- ing the area when the crew artived. The teens denied knowledge of any fires, which were out before fire- fighters arrived.
