* Halton Regional Police Service has laid more changes in the investigation contin- ued into a rash of rural house entries that have occurred in rural Halton Hills since October. Three young Brampton men have 238 charges laid against them. Starting October 26, generally between the hours of 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. there had z QOOMADOY been a number of reported early morning entries occurring in the south rural area of Halton-Hills. In these cases, the sus- pects entered these houses and stole wallets, purses, car keys, vehicle and vari- ous other items. In several cases the suspects entered the bedrooms of the vic- tims and stole items from their bedrooms while they slept. An investigation was undertaken by the Halton Regional Police Street Crime Unit officers from 11 Division CIB, working with the Peel Regional Police 22 Divi- sion Break and Enter Unit. Charged are: Marco Alves, 22 years old of Mirabell Crt. Brampton (99 charges); Bruce Alves, 19 years- old of Mirabell Crt. Brampton (47 charges); William Barreira, 19 years old of Mayfield Road Brampton, (20 charges). Arrests warrants are currently being processed for two other Brampton men, one of whom is facing 58 charges and the 14 charges for these house entries.
