Dis- plays will include historical archives from Edgewood ( Wellington OPP Report =) DOMESTIC VIOLENCE On Feb. 11 at 4:50 p.m. a Wellington OPP officer re- _ sponded to a report of an assault at a residence on Main Street in Rockwood. The vic- tim, a 38-year-old female reported that her ex-common- law spouse had assaulted her. No medical attention was re- quired. A 45-year-old Brampton male is being sought on an assault charge. IMPAIRED DRIVER On Feb. 13 at 3:11 a.m. a Wellington OPP investigated the driver of a car on Highway 7 at Wellington County Road 29 in Eramosa Township. The driver had been drinking and was administered.a roadside screening device test and failed. A 24 year-old Campbellville man was arrested and faces a charge of Driving With More than 80 mgs. ERIN CRASH On Feb. 10 at 5:26 p.m. Wellington OPP responded to areport of a head-on collision on Wellington Country Road 24 near Erin Township Sideroad 10. The collision oc- curred when a van struck a pickup truck head-on. Steven Hunter of the Guelph Detach- ment of the Wellington OPP was southbound on Highway 7 in Eramosa on routine pa- trol. As the officer crested the hill near the 7 Line, he ob- served a pick-up coming directly towards him in his lane at a high rate of speed. The officer activated his moving radar and the vehicle entered the bean and recorded a speed.of.147-km/h.in.a posted 80km/h zone. The ve- hicle returned to the northbound lane and when it passed him, the officer ob- served a van travelling at a high rate of speed.
