Halton Hills Gymnasts picked for Ont. team Fantastic news from the Halton Hills Gymnastic Club. Two of their gymnasts were selected at the first Men's Pro- vincial Qualifier to compete on the Gymnastics Ontario Men's Team at the Jurassic Classic held in Calgary the week-end of March 17-20. Wesley Smith came third overall in the Men's level 1 (under 12) with a score of 54.46 and also won a silver in Rings. Alex Bowmer, competing in the Men's level 11 (12 and over) came second overall with a score of 51.65. He also achieved a first place in Floor, Vault and High Bar, a second in Rings and a third place in Pommels. The entire Gymnastics On- tario Men's Team that went to Jurassic Classic returned triumphant after winning 46 medals. The team also came in first in the team competi- tion with an accumulated score of 169.42.
