Charles Al- lan Lauder died at Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, on Sunday, July 24 in his 94" year. "Al" Lauder as he was known in Acton, where he lived from 1960 to 1968, was an industrial chemist who later entered the minis- try when the family moved to Portage la Prairie. At Portage he served as a United Church minister at the Long Plain Reserve, later with the Presbyterian Church at the Dakota Tipo Reserve and at Westbourne, Manitoba. Rey. The fam- ily lived on Tidey Ave. Al Lauder's hobbies in- cluded painting nature, drawing and gardening.
