"We had no time to be having a lot of problems," Mrs. Doberthien said on Friday, adding they also had lots of health problems -- her husband lost a leg to cancer and she was ill -- and they lastname@halton.ca. She said they both worked and enjoyed their jobs -- she was a school teacher, he owned a car dealership--and "sort of had a life of our own in many ways, and did lots of things together, too." Lorne Doberthien also credits a busy life for making it a happy one. "We've had a pretty busy life and having cancer put a lot of pressure on our young family -- but we survived -- | don't know if there is any secret. | think you need to have a certain degree of luck and love," he said, add- ing they enjoy each other': company.
