Georgetown Legion meets tomorrow I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year for 2006. This Saturday, January 14, we are having DVD music on the big screen down in the lounge. Everyone is welcome. The branch meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 12), 8 p.m. There will be entertainment in the bar on January 28, 3-7 p.m. Music by Tony Hulme. I will at this time apologize for the incorrect date for our Hungry Man's Breakfast, published in the Community Calendar. It was held on Saturday and not Sunday. All of our breakfasts are on Saturdays in the future. Our next Hungry Man's Breakfast is on February 4, and future ones are: March 11, April 8, May 6, June 3, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 7, November 4 and December 2. Please sign up for in house cribbage on the sports board. The local group hosts an authentic Scottish supper followed by dancing to deejay Dave Smallwood and a performance by the Pipe Band. The event will be held at Holy Cross Church hall, beginning at 7 p.m. with dinner at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
