Vivian and family DEATHS MITCHELL, Lennex The family of Lennex Mitchell, formerly of Acton, is very sad to announce his passing on January 4th, 2006 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Len will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Myrtle Anne Mitchell, Daughter and Son in Law Valerie and Steve Leachman, Daughter Paula Walsh and sons Michael and D'Orsay Mitchell as well as son and daughter in law Christopher and Carol Mitchell. He leaves 7 Grandchildren, Andrea and Hilary Leachman, Dylan and James Walsh and Jesse, Dallas and Sarah Mitchell. Lennex retired in 1990 after working for Ford Motor Company for 25 years and moved from Acton, Ontario to Foymount, Ontario where he and his wife operated a Bed and Breakfast for 12 years. In his youth he was a miner working in Rouyn, Cobalt, Noranda, Blind River and Bancroft. While he was employed as a miner he was part of an award winning rescue team trained to help and aid others during time of emergency. He was a self taught musician who enjoyed singing with choirs including the Choraliers in Acton, Ontario and the Warblers in Eganville Ontario. Len was very active in his Eganville community and church; he was well loved by his immediate and extended family and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Rest easy Dad, til we meet again.
