Planning meeting tonight on Cultural Centre This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Halton Hills Cultural Centre and that calls for a celebration! Globe Productions holds auditions on Sunday for its spring musical lobe Productions is casting its May musical, Once Upon a Mattress, with auditions beginning this Sunday (Feb. 26). The musical is based on the story of The Princess and the Pea, centering around Prince Dauntless the Drab whose mother, Queen Agravain, seeking to keep the boy to herself declares that he wed only a true princess of royal blood. Enter Princess Winnifred and announces herself as a contender for the Prince's hand. In response, the Queen devises a clever test to determine whether this self-proclaimed princess is worthy of her son. Both women and men are needed, but there are no parts for children. Champions For Youth Gala Dance the night away to the `50s, `60s and `70s music of Rolly Rocker and The Hemi Heads!
