12 Independent & Free Press, Wednesday, May 24, 2006 ENTERTAINMENT Artists' Village to be featured at Riverfest-Norval June 4 Riverfest-Norval 2006 will boast an Artists' Village in Norval Park where artists and artisans will share their talents June 4. Visitors will even get a chance to try creating their own masterpieces at the Creative Spots or Paint-Your-Own Ceramics booths. The Halton Hills area is becoming wellknown for the many types of art and the varied talents of local artisans. Joining the local talents are artists from Guelph, Hamilton, Brampton, Toronto, Oakville and Milton. Featured artists and artisans will be showcasing their talents and items available for purchase include paintings, stone carvings, pottery, ceramics, jewelry, wood carvings, glass, chainsaw carvings, prints and more. Opera concert postponed An opera concert planned for Sunday, May 28 at Ebenezer United Church has been postponed due to the illness of the accompanist. A future date will be advised when known.
