Photo by Ted Brown Police blotter Missing equestrian equipment turns up in stables A horse saddle and accessories suspected to have been stolen from a Third Line equestrian facility have turned up safe and undamaged after being reported missing last week. Worth approximately $5,000, the saddle and stirrups disappeared from an unlocked stable some time between June 18-20 during an equestrian show, but police were informed that the items were found at the stables earlier this week. It's not known whether the equipment was misplaced, mistakenly removed or returned by a thief with a guilty conscience. ··· Two more unlocked vehicles were singled out by thieves early this week, with minor property loss reported. A cellphone was lifted from an automobile parked on Prince Charles Dr. some time early Monday morning, while the central compartment of another vehicle on Raylawn Cr. was taken out but found not far from the scene-- with the keys later returned to the owner.
