Amazing Dog Race set for Sept. 10 On Sunday, September 10, the Upper Credit Humane Society is hosting its 2nd Annual Amazing Dog Race at Cedarvale Park in Georgetown. Participants and their dogs are asked to perform simple tasks in order to complete the race. Those people who do not wish to race may walk the course instead. The race begins at 11 a.m. followed by a Pet Fair at 12 p.m. There will be fun dog contests which include smallest dog, biggest dog, best trick, best singing voice or howl, best athlete, musical mats and hot dog bobbing. Vendors will be on site showcasing their products and services. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
