`Geezers' reunite for golf The 1st Annual GDHS Geezer Golf Day took place at the Granite Ridge Golf Club in Milton recently with many former Georgetown District High School graduates from the class of 1972 (plus a few `wannabe' geezers). The 21 attendees played in the Geezer Golf Classic, and then enjoyed a dinner together. For many attendees, it had been 30 years since their last contact. Classmates attended from all over Ontario. Attendees in the photo are: Bottom row (from left): Bryan Hardman, Paul Ewing, Garry Belanger, Steve Lounds, Ken Mariani, Doug Getty, Bob Sargent. Second row: Bruce Stockfish, Wayne Farrow. Third row: Glenn Belanger, Mike Warman, Gerrard Jattan, Larry Louth. Fourth row: Jim Boland, Brian Beaumont, Tim Swim, Bud Martin, Steve Frost. Fifth row: Dave McDonald, Brent Barkhouse, John Kennedy. Plans for next year's event are already under way, with expectations that more `geezers' will find the time to attend.
