Top acts mark Cultural Centre's 25th anniversary The Halton Hills Library and Cultural Centre marks its silver anniversary next month with a nineday celebration of the arts event, Celebrating Silver ... Going for Gold. The Halton Hills Library and Cultural Centre has been the centre of cultural activity in Halton Hills for the past 25 years, and is the perfect venue to host the celebrations that will occur between Friday, October 13 and Sunday, October 22. This is a week of music, theatre and artistic expression with a wide array of events sure to entertain all ages and cultural interests. The John Elliott Theatre Open House kicks off the celebration on Friday, October 13 with a behind the scenes look at how a production comes together and the magical world of costumes, make-up, lighting and sound, followed by a night of comedy and drama, music and song featuring Halton Hills' two premier theatre groups, the Georgetown Little Theatre and Georgetown Globe Productions. A month-long exhibition to Celebrate the Arts will feature The Many Faces of Halton Hills Art Show in the Gallery.
