Dead is Hermann Vogt, 82, of Concession 6. Halton Police say at approximately 2:40 p.m. Vogt was hit by a westbound vehicle near the Fifth Line. Paramedics responded to the accident and when they arrived Vogt had no vital signs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
