Breakfast with Mayors to focus on future employee retention The future workplace will the topic of next Breakfast with the Mayors, hosted by Halton Hills Mayor Rick Bonnette and Gord Krantz on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 7:30-10 a.m. at the Granite Ridge Golf Club on Dublin Line in Halton Hills. The breakfast is being organized by the Halton Industry Education Council in partnership with Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Guest speaker is Tim Rutledge, owner of Mattanie Press, consultant, writer and trainer with expertise in the area of employee engagement and retention. Rutledge says in the future there will be more job openings than job seekers, resulting in a sellers' market for the first time. He will talk about how engaged organizations create engaged mindsets in their key employees and how employees make themselves retention-eligible.
