Rebels host High-scoring Atom Raiders win Falls tourney b-ball tourney The sixth annual Tip-Off Classic Against Cancer will be hosted by Georgetown District High School's Rebels this weekend, with four junior and four senior teams entered in the boys' high school basketball tournament. Games in the GDHS gym begin at 3 p.m. Friday, with the senior Rebels taking on Oakville's Iroquois Ridge. Georgetown's juniors take on Iroquois Ridge at 4:30 p.m., followed by Etobicoke's Silverthorn Collegiate facing Christ the King at 6 p.m. Silverthorn's seniors line up against JF Ross of Guelph at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the junior consolation final tips off at 9 a.m. and the championship follows at 10:30 a.m. At noon, it's the senior consolation matchup, and then the Georgetown Alumni will challenge the junior Rebels to a game at 1:30 p.m. The senior championship game is set for 2:30 p.m. Beating Perinton, N.Y. 5-1 in the final, the Georgetown Raiders won the Atom AA division of the Niagara Falls, N.Y.
