Ashley Hauler Dalton Olinoski Dayna Noltie Cara Lyall Lauren McCracken Acton High School Athletes of the Week are Cara Lyall and Ashley Hauler. Lyall, a setter on the Bearcats junior volleyball team was selected for her strong game against MDHS, with good serving and setting. Hauler, a member of the Bearcats swim tam was recognized for her strong showing at the White Oaks swim meet, capturing third in her heat in the 50 free event. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week Dalton Olinoski and Lauren McCracken. Olinoski , a guard on the senior Rebels basketball team was selected for his 18 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists in a win against MDHS. McCracken was a force at both ends of the rink for the shorthanded Rebels in a 1-0 loss to Burlington's Notre Dame. The Grade 11 student plays forward for Georgetown's 1-2-1 varsity girls' hockey team. Christ the King Athletes of the Week are Dayna Noltie and Ben Merchant. Noltie, a labaro on the junior Jaguars volleyball team, was cited for her leadership and powerful serving to beat BR in two games. Merchant, a Grade 11 student, made 33 saves in a 4-2 Jaguar victory over Loyola to improve his team's record to 5-1-1 and second place in the Halton Tier I varsity boys' hockey league.
