Acton BIA holds AGM tonight with special speaker The Acton BIA is hosting its annual general meeting on Wednesday, March 21, 7 p.m. at the Acton Legion, 15 Wright Ave. The keynote speaker is John Kiru, executive director of TABIA (Toronto Area Business Improvement Associations). In addition to being ask to draft changes to the BIA sections of the Municipal Act by the province, Kiru has also delivered the BIA message of self help and the ultimate private public partnership to many communities across North America as well as at numerous conference internationally.
