Rep hockey roundup Georgetown squads racking up OMHA titles Four rep teams from Georgetown captured Ontario Minor Hockey Association division titles this week and another Raider victory on home ice this weekend would tie the organization's record of five OMHA championships in one season. Georgetown's Sports Unlimited Raiders came back from a 2-0 series deficit in the OMHA finals, beating host Ancaster on Wednesday night in the fifth-and-deciding game 3-2 of the Atom AE Group 1 championship on a late goal by Lucas Jenkins. Two more GMHA squads simultaneously won their series at the Mold-Masters SportsPlex on Tuesday evening as the McMaster's Meat & Deli Novice AEs finished off the Markham Waxers with a 6-2 triumph and the Minor Bantam AAs eliminated Richmond Hill in a 2-1 decision. Georgetown's Minor Atom AEs started things off on Monday by beating Aurora for the OMHA Group 1-3 crown and the list of Raider champions in 2007 could get even longer. Trailing Brampton five points to one in the OMHA Peewee AE Group 1 finals, the Topper's Pizza Raiders have pulled off a pair of 1-0 wins to force a sixth game on Saturday at the Alcott A rink beginning at 6:30 p.m. Three other Raider teams were knocked out of their respective OMHA final matchups on Tuesday. A 2-2 tie in Barrie wasn't enough for the Halton Hills Rad & Tire Minor Peewee AEs as they were edged in points 6-4, while the New Solutions Capital Group Midget AE Raiders dropped a 3-2 overtime contest to guest Stoney Creek and were eliminated in four games. Georgetown's Hungry Man Bantam AEs lost 5-2 at Brampton Tuesday and fell 7-3 in the six-point series.
