Setting lofty goals for the future Former Hamilton Tiger-Cat and Toronto Argonaut Ellison Kelly brought along the Grey Cup as he addressed students at Holy Cross School recently. Kelly, a representative of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum in Hamilton, was at the school to discuss goalsetting for the students' futures and among those getting a good look at the Cup were Grade 8 students Nic Pierog and Meagan Tibbits. Both play mixed pairs badminton and were selected for their great showing at the very competitive McMaster tournament recently, winning 15-3 and 15-7 over a Grade 12 team. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week Denaka Bodrug and James Bramley. Both athletes are members of the Rebels swim team and were recognized for their efforts at OFSAA. Bodrug finished second in the 200 medley relay and fourth in the 200 freestyle relay, while Bramley brought home a gold in both the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, as well as a silver in the 100 breast stroke. Christ the King Athletes of the Week are Darcy Cook and Samantha Hawkins. Cook's four goals and two assists led the Jaguars to win the Canadian Hockey Enterprises Tournament held in Montreal March 24 and 25th. He was also selected Tournament MVP.
