Town-wide clean up next week Take a little time and make a big difference during the third annual Halton Hills 20 Minute Makeover Day on Friday, April 20. Business owners, institutions and schools are all asked to encourage their employees and students to go outside for a 20-minute blitz clean up of their grounds and neighbouring areas. Please call the Town Works Department at 905-873-2601 ext. 2610 to arrange for free gloves and bags and to register your participation. The following day, Saturday, April 21, it's the Seventh Annual Halton Hills Clean Up Day. The whole community-- groups, families and neighbourhoods-- is invited to show its civic pride and assist in the clean up of our town. Again, free gloves and bags are available at the Town Works Yard, the Acton and Georgetown BIA offices and at the Chamber of Commerce.
