The break left 154 properties without natural gas for several hours. Halton Hills firefighters responded to the gas leak on Wesleyan Dr. at about 10:15 a.m. On their arrival they were told by Union Gas officials that a 6" natural gas line had been ruptured. Businesses and residents on Wesleyan Dr. east of the break and on Main St. approximately 200 ft. north and south of Wesleyan Dr. were evacuated. Wind conditions in the area helped to keep gas concentrations at nominal levels and after the final valve was closed by Union Gas and fire crews verified that natural gas levels were acceptable, residents and businesses were allowed to return at approximately noon. with Don't pay until August `07 * *Limited Time Offer APPLEBY SYSTEMS 877-8990 Fireplace, Heating & Air Conditioning Sales & Service 118 Guelph St. Georgetown (at Maple) Hours: M - F 9-5; Sat. 11-4; Appointments available after hours upon request MORE HEALTH SAVINGS! 15% OFF Bring this coupon to nutrition house in the Georgetown Market Place Mall and receive 15% OFF your next purchase.
