The seat will be filled by Madeleine Ashcroft, a nurse with more than 30 years of health care experience in critical care, operating rooms, intravenous therapy, renal/dialysis nursing, community nursing, education and midwifery. She has specialized in infection prevention and control in acute care, long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. She was most recently the manager of infection prevention and control at Humber River Regional Hospital and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Eileen de Villa was also recently appointed chair of the network's steering committee.
