Man facing sexual assault charge A 22-year-old Etobicoke man was charged after an alleged sexual assault in Acton Tuesday afternoon. Halton Police say at 2:15 p.m. an 18-year-old woman contacted police and reported she had been sexually assaulted by a man in an older model van who had approached her while she walked in the Bower and Willow St. area. The van was driven by a man who had pulled up alongside the woman, seemingly asking for directions. When the woman approached the driver's side window the man asked her to get in the van, but she refused. Police say the driver then opened the passenger door and coerced the woman inside. He then drove the van to a nearby deserted church parking lot where the woman was sexually assaulted. The woman managed to flee the van. The driver got out, exposed himself, and then later sped away in the van. The woman ran to a nearby friend's home where police were contacted. A short time later police found the van and arrested the driver. Charged with sexual assault is Sargon Mikhaeal Oshana, 22, of Albion Rd., Etobicoke. He is to be in Milton court on July 6.
