Acton/Georgetown, Friday, June 15, 2007 13 Students honoured Earth Day Canada recently presented Christ the King's environmental club, Club Green with a mounted Earth Day poster, recognizing CtK Club Green's donation of $1,500 after running a paid civvies day to celebrate Earth Day and raise money for the Earth Day Canada Foundation. The foundation uses the money to fund environmental education programs such as EcoMentors and the EcoKids Challenge, the EcoAction Team energy conservation program, and the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship program.
