Photos courtesy Marg Helson Weekend forecast is for fun, fun and more fun Party on! After more than two years of planning, Homecoming 2007-- a grand reunion -- arrives this weekend. Organizers expect as many as 5,000 people to take part in the inaugural event which already has more than 2,000 registrants. Homecoming 2007 is a reunion celebration of Georgetown for both current residents and those who have moved away. Dozens of activities have been planned for the course of the three-day event, which runs Friday to Sunday. On Friday the registration/sign in will run from 5-7 p.m. at the Mold-Masters SportsPlex where registrants can pick up registration packages, which will include wristbands, tickets, and the Homecoming guide From 7-9 p.m. Friday there will be a Meet & Mingle (wine and cheese party), at the SportsPlex. Among the highlights on Saturday, Georgetown District High School will host a 120th reunion from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and a reunion dance will be held at the Mold-Masters SportsPlex Saturday night featuring six local bands-- including a reunion of Station House.
