The pair was tied with Ashley Davis of Toronto and Wasaga Beachs Kristy McLaughlin at five-under-par 67 after regulation play. Forty-four teams were entered in the tourna- ment, held at the Wildfire Golf Club in Lakefield. Lapointe, who sank a 12-foot putt to clinch the victory, posted her third GAO victory this season, hav- ing taken the Womens Match Play and Womens Mid-Amateur championships. The Royal Canadian Golf Association has released its 2007 Order of Merit ratings and some North Halton club members cracked the top 100 for their respective playing categories.
