Some of the other parties were not so success- ful. R4)th, the ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Juhn Thistlethwaite passed away on Wednesday of last week after an illness of eleven weeks with some kind of brain trouble. Daring the whole period she remained unconscious, or at least was unable to eommuuicate with her parents in any way. The fun eral took place en Friday, the tetviee being conducted^y their pastor, Rev. F G. Fowler, assisted by Rev. C. A Belfry. The pupils ef the public school marched in a body to the house ard then to the cemetery, all feeling that it was the last tiibute of affection to the gentle little maiden. Floral offerings were laid on the little white casket by the pupils of the public school, the Presbyterian church, the Methodist Sabbath fchool, of which Ruthie was a member ; and by friends of the family, Much sympathy is felt for Mr. and Mrs. Thistlethwaitu in the loss of their dear little daughter.
